Why weigh your ingredients?
A cup measures volume. Flour, sugar and honey have different weights in the same cup, and packing or changing the ingredient form can change the result. Use the reference for the form your recipe calls for.
A scale helps repeat quantities. It does not correct an unsuitable substitution or overbaking. For tiny amounts, use measuring spoons or a scale with suitable resolution.
If the recipe gives grams, use those. Otherwise check the ingredient page for its form, measuring method and source comparison before converting. A US cup is about 236.6 ml; it is not a metric 250 ml cup or a drinking mug.
